How to Maximize Space in Small Apartments
As I’m based in New York, I’ve had my fair share of struggles when it comes to buying the right type of furniture and decorating purposefully but creatively. Here are some ways you can maximize space in smaller areas and take advantage of the areas you do have!

1) Get a desk that fits your space

2) Add a mirror to your bedroom
A large full length mirror could make your room look larger and you can get use out if it as well!
3) Maximize space with wall shelves
These shelves are a create way to add personality to your room without taking up any space.
4) Find tables that can store chairs underneath

5) Take advantage of mounted TV consoles

7) Use double rods in closet for extra space
I always have way too many clothes, and these double rods really help with condensing everything!

This is an easy way to maximize the space that you have!
11) Get a clothing rack
This one is typical NYC living, but find a cute clothing rack that you can display in your room!
12) Use an ottoman bench as storage
If you have room in front of your bed, this is a great way to maximize space and store many items!
